A collection of thoughts from my earliest years online. Healthy things grow. In leaving this anthology online, my hope is to document growth as well as to echo timeless truths. As you process these years of my life, please read with that proper perspective. We all grow and until we're with the Lord, we are all still growing.

On the Lighter side of life
Check out this post by Todd Ruth from Granger. This may be the funniest thing you see today!
This lets me see what I'll experience here in just a few weeks (my wife Kristy is due on the 22nd).
Tooooo funny! It will happen to you at some point and you will love it cuz it's a memory that you will have till you see Jesus. I treasure the "stinky" moments along with the fresh ones because life is short and I never know what God has planned. I am a M.U.G. (Mother undergoing grief) and the memories are treasures (just usually not so solid!)
I can't say that you'll love it, but you will remember these moments with a certain comical nostalgia. Tonight my oldest was eating his dinner and looked at us and said, "I don't feel good." Can you guess what came next? Vomitus eruptus! Big time! Now picture this: stuff everywhere, my wife is cleaning it up, I'm cooking and cleaning too between flipping the food, our son is crying with it all over him, and my youngest is sitting right next to him still eating. Funny? Maybe in the future. I was thinking more like disgusting, gross, sickening to the core, unsettling, and part of being a parent...It's a wonderful, but very challenging, experience. You will learn a whole new depth to what it means to be selfless and sacrificial.
