A collection of thoughts from my earliest years online. Healthy things grow. In leaving this anthology online, my hope is to document growth as well as to echo timeless truths. As you process these years of my life, please read with that proper perspective. We all grow and until we're with the Lord, we are all still growing.
I get: -Motivation -Insight -A good laugh sometimes -Great information -Loss of freetime -Links to other blogs -Encouargement -Confirmation from others on something God is doing in my life
I get grass-roots, unadulturated perspectives from real people sharing what they are dealing with, doing, enjoying, hating, learning, losing, consuming etc. in their real lives. That's what I get.
i get to keep up with how everyone is doing out there....see how others view things, get encouragement, enlightment, knowledge...get deep "in the mind" of everyone else...get things off my own chest when I blog...and it's just fun listening to people go-off about stuff...
I agree with Tadd. It is an outlet. I have always kept journals. Know I do them online whee every one can read them. :)
I think it is good to see what is happening on the battlefield. I have had true friendships develop, learned a lot, realized I wasn't the only one out there struggling and hopefully, I have helped some people along the way.
It seems this is the big question on the pastor blogs the last few days. Some see it as a waste of time, I see it as an outlet and a hobby. Some pastors golf, I blog. They are both four letter words. :)
I get caught up on the lives of my friends outside of the Dallas area.
I also glean incredible insights form other Pastors.
I am able to connect on a deeper level with my volunteers at Fellowship Church, share with my family and friends life lessons and isights that God is teaching me.
I'm sure there are more, but I don't want to copy all the things Kevin said too.

I get insight into other people. I also get various views on different topics without having them filterd thorugh the media.
